This tool provides an overview of all probation decisions and measures as well as alternative sanctions existing in the Member States. It allows identification and comparison between two or more Member States of their probation systems and, in particular, on the following elements:

• Judgement and probation decisions falling within the scope of Article 2 of the Probation Framework Decision;
• Probation measures and alternative sanctions falling within the scope of Article 4.1 of the Probation Framework Decision;
• Probation measures and alternative sanctions existing in Member States but which are not covered by Article 4.1 of the Probation Framework Decision;
• Electronic monitoring.

The results distinguish 3 different figures:

• The measure is provided for in the national system (      ). Clicking on this figure directs you to the corresponding information;
• The measure does not exist in the national system or the information was not gathered (      );
• Additional information is available ( ). Pointing on this figure provides you additional information.
